About Me

Carla Renée is an actress, performance poet and motivational speaker who has thrilled audiences around the country for more than 3 decades. She is a conquer of cancer, celebrated veteran and vibrant beam of light.

She has graced the stage countless times to perform as a dancer, soloist, and backup singer. Renée choreographed a dance that won First Place in the 2009 National Veterans Creative Arts Competition; she now has a total of 11 Gold, Silver & Bronze medals. With an extensive history of performing, it has always been Carla’s dream to share her gifts with the world. Beyond all her awards and achievements Carla continues to excel through her natural ability to captivate everyday people with her sweet demeanor and eloquent charm. This is one star that isn’t afraid to shine!

Though she’s traveled the globe and lived all around the continental US, she calls Alexandria, Virginia home. It was here that this star was first formed. Growing up in the Alexandria community Renée was always a stand out kid and bright young scholar. She was one of the first recipients of the scholarship fund of Alexandria and even went on to graduate from the famed TC Williams High School.  Notably she is also a decorated service woman and graduate of the Air Force Academy’s class of 1990. This former Captain left an incredibly exciting and successful Public Affairs career in 1997 to run a prosperous business and accomplish her God-given mission of inspiring people through the arts. Renee always wanted to puruse her childhood passion of acting on the big screen and received that opportunity in what some might say is a stroke of luck.

Her interpretation of Maya Angelou’s Caged Bird appeared on a PBS special which was taped in front of a live audience. She’s captivated more than 20,000 people with her unique style and is hoping to add each of you to her growing fan club. She has presently taken on the role of Wanda in Carlos Etzio Roman’s Sci-Fi, Action, Thriller; Signals 2. Carla is living her dream as she prepares for the movie debut this coming June 2013.
